Work Life Changes

What does it take to go from one place to another? It takes a compelling vision and defined direction. A practical plan. Accountability to ourselves. And it takes execution.

Transitions are a natural part of any working life. Some are chosen. And some take us by surprise. Losing a job. Taking your career to the next level as we pursue promotion or take on a new or expanded role. Starting or growing a business. Changing career paths to do work we care about. Retiring from a job and wanting to write our next chapter. Children needing less of our time as they grow older.

You may not know where you want to go. You may be afraid to name out loud what you want. You may not know what the questions are. The challenges can be so big, so rich you need help to sort through them.

When you feel stuck, it’s hard to clarify ideas. It’s difficult to detach from everyday concerns — paying the bills, loving your friends and family, creating the time to make dreams real.

Supported by a coach, you can pause to clarify what you want, identify the best path forward and take control by committing to your goal.

To navigate a change you need both strategic thinking and the ability to execute. My greatest strength has been described as having both a wide angle and a zoom lens. I can see the big picture and then “zoom in” to help clients develop and execute their plan.
